    Welcome to the course "Principles of Marketing & Sales". On this web site you will find some introducery information and examples. We hope you will choose our course and wish you a lot of fun and interesting insights into the world of Marketing & Sales.

    This course is designed to support virtual learning for undergraduate students in the field of marketing and sales. It is a general introduction course. Below you can find more information regarding the content. Please start by watching the videos. They will give you some important information about the structure as well as the course schedule. Additionally you'll find some video tutorials how to register at vhb and the moodle course and how to get started. These tutorials are available in english and german. We also provide a workshop on the registration process on Friday 15th of October at 10 am. Please check the forum at the section "How to register?"

    Please note: this is an online course, there will be no  Online-lecture via Zoom or other video conference systems!

    Self-learning and self-motivation skills are required to pass this course. Also be aware that the workload is 150h (5 ECTS), 75 (2.5 ECTS). This includes to deal with provided literature and further to search for other sources on your own if needed.

    Professor Dr. Sandra Gronover studied Business Administration at the Catholic University of Eichstätt und the University of Humberside. She received her doctorate from the University of St. Gallen in 2003. Afterward she worked as a management consultant before she joined the Linde Group in 2006, where she was in various international specialist and management positions in the field of customer management, sales processes and e-commerce. Since 2012 she has held a full professorship for International Marketing and Sales Management at the University of Applied Sciences Landshut. Her research focus is on digital transformation in sales and customer management.

    Prof. Dr. Carsten Rennhak

    Prof. Dr. Carsten Rennhak received a Bachelor as well as Diploma degree in Business from Augsburg University, a Master in Economics from Wayne State University, Detroit, and his doctorate from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich. Before joining Bundeswehr University he held full professorships at ESB Reutlingen (2004-2013) and Munich Business School (2003-2004). Prior to his academic career, Prof. Rennhak worked as a management consultant and project manager for Booz Allen Hamilton in the telco, media, high tech and utility industries for seven years.

    His primary research interests cover marketing communication, customer loyalty and corporate strategy. He has published articles and books on competitive strategies in the automotive, retail and fashion industry, market segmentation, customer loyalty and marketing communication.

     

    Prof. Dr. Christian Zich


    Deggendorf University of Technology

    Professor Dr. Christian Zich studied Business Administration at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and received his doctorate from 1990 to 1995 at the University of Kassel. From 1989 to 1999 he was employed at Siemens AG in various specialist and management positions in process management, marketing and sales. Since 1999 he has held a professorship for International Marketing and Sales Management at the Deggendorf University of Technology. His research and consulting focus is on consumer behavior, digital marketing, classical advertising and personal branding.
