Dieses Modul Makroökonomie ermöglicht den Studierenden, ein breites Verständnis
der makroökonomischen Zusammenhänge zu entwickeln. Es werden
grundlegende Konzepte und Theorien der Makroökonomie behandelt,
um ein tiefes Verständnis der Gesamtwirtschaft und ihrer
Funktionsweise zu vermitteln. Studierende werden in die Lage
versetzt, die Auswirkungen makroökonomischer Ereignisse und
politischer Maßnahmen auf Arbeitsmarkt, Inflation, Geldpolitik und
Wirtschaftswachstum zu analysieren und zu interpretieren.

This module provides an introduction to the economics of charitable giving by analysing key questions in charitable giving using different approaches, both theoretically and empirically. In particular, the three main players – donors, charities, and the government – and their interaction are at the focus.

This seminar aims to provide students with a broad understanding of
the basic principles of economic and climate policy (e.g. Blanchard et
al., 2023). By exploring the intersection of economics and
environmental sustainability, students will gain insight into the
challenges and opportunities associated with addressing climate
change through policy interventions. We will discuss the German,
European and international perspectives of economic and climate
policy and get to know the institutions involved.
