Learning Goal:

This project is particularly designed for students who may work globally, in multicultural teams, or are interested in traveling abroad and would like to develop their intercultural awareness in advance. Through the project, students will be able to understand that people from different national cultures come with different values, beliefs, or behaviors, which is reflected in their communication strategies. The knowledge of other national cultures than their own is the foundation to good intercultural relationships. With a wide range of culture-related topics, students will be able to train their skills of information gathering as well as to be able to share their knowledge through topic presentations in class/during the project.

Learning Outcome:


By the end of the project, participants will have:

  • raised their the awareness of other national cultures than their own
  • increased their intercultural competence
  • been provided an opportunity to practice English in an international setting
